The Irish rugby team's trip to Queenstown before its final match against the All Blacks proved an enjoyable one, with players getting a chance to relax and take in the town's beauty.
Captain Brian O'Driscoll said the players thoroughly enjoyed their visit this time, as much as they had during last year's World Cup.
"I think it's been great again."
The fresh air, atmosphere and attractions made Queenstown a good place for the team to get away from the rugby spotlight, and provided a chance for players to unwind.
"There's not as much of an emphasis on rugby here as anywhere else," O'Driscoll said.
While here, the players filled in their time with an activities day, when many chose to test their skills on Michael Hill's private golf course, The Hills.
"[I] played golf on Tuesday. It was quite nice," O'Brien said.
One place that is always popular with touring teams was a big hit again, with takeaway outlet Fergburger being one of the players' first stops.
"Yeah, certainly. We all love Fergburger. [I] always look forward to it," O'Brien said.
"Double Fergburger, that's me."
With the team spending much time here last year, many activities, such as jet-boating and bungy jumping, had been done before, so the trip gave the players a chance to try some new, not so adventurous pursuits.
Prop Mike Ross chose to take a ride up the gondola with team-mates.
The players were looking to relax before their final encounter of the tour with the All Blacks.
""Thanks a lot [Queenstown], we've enjoyed it."
