Perhaps best known to Kiwis for her ''Where the bloody hell are you?'' catchphrase, Australian model Lara Bingle has touched down in Queenstown.
Travellers at the resort's airport were baffled when the blonde was greeted at the terminal by celebrity dancer Hayley Holt, the former squeeze of All Black captain Richie McCaw, and a film crew, which presumably explained the multiple entrances she made through the arrivals area.
Holt is believed to be hosting Bingle, also known for dating Aussie cricket captain (then vice-captain) Michael Clarke.
Air New Zealand has confirmed that Bingle is in the resort to film the next instalment of their Kiwi Sceptics campaign.
The campaign is an online reality show which documents Air NZ's efforts to convert four Australian 'Kiwi Sceptics' into advocates, in order to drive the destination up the wish-list of Australians.
Kelly Millier, Marketing Manager for Air New Zealand Australia said, "We are thrilled to be working with Lara and our friends at Destination Queenstown for the next instalment of Kiwi Sceptics.
''The first four episodes have showcased a fresh and progressive side of New Zealand we wanted Australians to see. Queenstown is one of the jewels in New Zealand's crown and right now we are experiencing the peak of the ski season bookings, so we're hoping Lara's daredevil nature will showcase a little of what Queenstown has to offer on and off the slopes."
Bingle, a self-confessed Kiwi Sceptic, was looking forward to hanging out on the slopes when she wasn't taking in the town's top bars and restaurants.
On Saturday night she was in the crowd for the ice hockey match between the Southern Stampede and the West Auckland Admirals.
