Queenstown packs a huge bite!

If your idea of adventure comes more in the shape of a culinary journey, then you’ve come to the right place - the Queenstown region is home to more than 150 bars and restaurants.

In downtown Queenstown there’s stylish bistro food, traditional pub meals, fish and chips on the waterfront, designer burgers, and a variety of ethnic cuisine, while buffet dining above the gondola provides magnificent views of the region. Queenstown has a lively nightlife no matter what day of the week!

Vineyards and winery restaurants in the Queenstown and Gibbston areas are some of the best in New Zealand and various ‘cellar door’ operations and wine tours provide plenty of chances to explore the Central Otago region. Lively local bars also offer extensive wine lists where sampling the local drop can continue in style.

Let’s face it - it doesn’t get much better than spending an afternoon soaking up spectacular scenery whilst drinking an award-winning local Pinot Noir and nibbling a gourmet platter of local produce!
