This national rugby sevens tournament, held annually at the Queenstown Recreation Ground, is a local favourite and is well known for its relaxed party atmosphere, crowd entertainment and best of all – exciting, attacking and explosive style of rugby.

Rugby Sevens, also known as seven-a-side and VIIs, is a variant of rugby union in which teams are made up of seven players instead of the usual 15, and play shorter matches.  So get in behind your favourite team, dress up and show your support!
