The 2014 Warbirds over Wanaka event will be held at Wanaka Airport at Easter weekend, the 18th, 19th and 20th April 2014.

Don’t miss the bi-annual Warbirds Over Wanaka airshow for three days of thrilling entertainment over Easter weekend!  The airshow features extraordinary flying acts with famous military fighter aircraft throughout the last 100 years through to modern jets of today and culminates in a huge mock air battle complete with some of New Zealand’s best pyrotechnics.  When you’re not looking skyward, there’s plenty to see and do on the ground including sport aircraft, warhorses, vintage machinery and vintage tractors, regional wines, market and food stalls, home-built aircraft workshops, aircraft for sale and aviation trade stands.  Two new features in 2014 are the WW1 centenary celebrations over Lake Wanaka on Friday afternoon April 18th and a Rides Day on Monday April 21st.  www.warbirdsoverwanaka.com
