The Eastern

Often referred to as New Zealand's hardest-working band, The Eastern have made it a point of pride, as well as a way of life, to pack up their banjo, fiddle, and six string to hit the road.

They care deeply about the people they meet and the hands they shake and the beers and cups of coffee they share with folks on the road. They've played everywhere from Timaru to Nashville to Sydney and beyond. They treat every show as the best one yet.

Coming from earthquake-damaged Lyttelton, The Eastern offer hope, heart and honesty with an authenticity that raises the spirits.
