The Milford Track Encounter Day Walk is a relaxed, hassle free way to experience one of the most famous walks in the world.

We will pick you up from Queenstown or Te Anau and drive you to the shores of Lake Te Anau to the boat harbour. Enjoy a hot drink on board an hour long boat journey to the northern end of the lake and start of the Milford Track. Disembarking, we walk 1.6km (1 mile) to the historic Glade House.

Here we enjoy a scrumptious lunch from the kitchen. After visiting the small museum there, we follow the Clinton River through rich beech forest and provide some history to you along the way.

On the return, we walk up the Glade Burn Track for a fantastic view of Lake Te Anau before descending down a dry river bed to the return launch.
