Forget about any white water activity you’ve ever seen. Riversurfing is the most exciting, exhilarating & interactive water activity on the planet! To this day, there’s only 3 places in the world you can go riversurfing & it all started in Queenstown in 1989. Serious Fun are the original riversurfing company & we are the only ones that can operate on 2 sections of the Kawarau River.

Chinese Dogleg: Grade 2-4
8.9km section of river includes NZ’s best standing wave & the longest commercially run rapid, kicking off with 100m of grade 4 adrenalin pumping fun followed by 700m of grade 3 excitement. The calmer sections allow you to float through the Pillar of the Kings a location from LOTR, before passing the birthplace of bungy.

Roaring Meg: Grade 2-3
This section of the river has 6km of fast flowing rapids, boils, whirlpools & a chill out section to enjoy the amazing scenery. Just when you think it's all over, the guides take you back & you get to run the 6km of white water again!
