Known, in particular, for its Pinot Noir, Queenstown and nearby Gibbston Valley are home to over 75 wineries producing a wide range of wine varieties.

Many Queenstown wineries have cellar door tasting, and several have excellent winery restaurants on site, meaning you can drop in for a taste, a chat to the staff or a delicious meal with a glass of your favourite local wine.
