Domestic Winter 2020
Ahead of winter DQ worked with a number of publications on winter preview content. Queenstown has featured in the Stuff, NZ Herald, Dish, Metropol magazine (Canterbury and Otago) and Latitude magazine.
Ongoing winter PR activity continued through early July, with Stuff’s Brook Sabin visiting and publishing updates during his stay, with more stories to follow. DQ has also seeded a number of stories through Brook before his visit. Social media advocate Lilia Alexander @wellingtonLIVE @explorelocalnz visited for a winter famil early August.
NZ Herald’s 7 July Travel section featured a cover story from a journalist’s 2019 visit focusing on our ski offering alongside winter activities and dining. This story was complemented by sponsored content in the same issue and also featured on the front page of five NZME regional newspapers. DQ also worked with avenues. magazine in Christchurch on a winter themed sponsored content piece in August. View the results below:
DQ invited Cuisine Magazine Editor and food critic Kelli Brett along NZ Herald's Sinead Corcoran to experience Queenstown's autumn offering.
