In this workshop artist Bailee Lobb will guide participants through the process of creating beautiful patterns on fabric using Shibori folding techniques. Shibori dying originates in Japan, and uses specific folding methods, along with tying and clamping to create patterned cloth. No experience is required for this workshop, and participants will come away with samples and up to two finished usable pieces. Participants are recommended to wear clothing that they do not mind getting stained.

This workshop is suitable for age 16+.
