Discover local filmmaking at our Short Film Showcase! Enjoy a variety of short films, including sketches, documentaries,animations and more, all created by talented filmmakers from the Queenstown Lakes District and beyond.

Little Cinema is a short film showcase night that was set up by an Irish film enthusiast named Brendan O'Donnell who sought a platform for filmmakers of all levels to network and to grow and see their films on the big screen.

It gives all film-makers from Central Otago and beyond the opportunity to showcase their films to a warm encouraging audience in a relaxed setting. The only two rules are that the film is under 15 minutes and the film-maker introduces their piece on the stage.
