Arrowtown Creative Arts Society presents the 2019 Spring Arts Festival which runs from early October till mid-November. The festival program has 16 creative arts events; including art/photography/guitar & garden workshops, four talks, an art exhibition, two films, and a themed music event. Highlights are a talk at Millbrook by Sir Bob Jones on Satire - The Art of Taking the Mickey; the NZ premiere of art documentary "Whiteley", award-winning NZ author Kate de Goldi in conversation with Bethany Rogers; former NZ War Artist Matt Gauldie opens his art exhibition Life Between Two shores and talks about his time in Afghanistan; and Rocktober a themed 60s 70s and 80s music evening where you can get your platforms and flares on and dance the night away with bands, Zucchini Brothers and Bourbon Sour.
