Browns Ski Shop

Nigel and Derek Brown were two young Queenstown racers competing on the World cup Circuit in Europe. Starting a ski shop was a natural extension of their enthusiasm & knowledge of skiing. Pretty soon Browns Ski Shop was to become a shrine to the big alpine where like-minded people worked and shared vital knowledge.

Apparel

Concentrating on quality, style & exclusivity, Browns Ski Shop presents a skiwear collection each season, selected by Fizz from the best labels around the world. Some of the labels we stock in our shops include Poivre Blanc, Descente, Phenix, Killy, Eider, Kjus & Degre7. For us, the gear’s got to work as well as look great.

Boots

If it’s boots you're after - we believe that a truly comfortable boot fit is only achieved at a one-on-one fitting by a ski boot specialist. At Browns Ski Shop we have a full Sidas Custom boot lab with every tool you can possibly imagine for a successful boot fitting session. Our selection of boots covers pretty much any foot shape imaginable, and we guarantee the fit with every pair of boots sold. 

Skis

We hand-pick ski brands and models to suit the broad range of our customers' abilities and for New Zealand's challenging snow conditions. Current brands include Head, Fischer, Blizzard, Nordica, Salomon and Volkl.

The 2022/23 winter models that we sell in our retail shop are the same as those we use for our Executive Rental fleet, so you can take the opportunity to try the latest and greatest and hire for a day before committing to your purchase.
