Starkwhite Queenstown
Starkwhite is a contemporary art gallery exhibiting leading New Zealand and international artists. With galleries in Auckland and Queenstown the gallery exhibits a diverse range of contemporary practice across mediums including sculpture, painting, photography, video, and mixed-media.
Starkwhite represents major artists sought after internationally including Billy Apple, Bill Henson, Len Lye, Jonny Niesche, Ani O’Neill, Fiona Pardington, John Reynolds, Alicia Frankovich and Gordon Walters. Starkwhite also represents a newer generation of emerging and mid-career New Zealand artists including Yuk King Tan, Richard Maloy, and internationally based artists such as Michael Zavros, Rebecca Baumann and Gemma Smith from Australia, Seung Yul Oh, who works in both Korea and New Zealand, American painter Whitney Bedford, and Gerold Miller residing in Berlin/Italy.
Starkwhite takes part in major Asia-Pacific and international art fairs including Art Basel Hong Kong, Aotearoa Art Fair, Sydney Contemporary, ART STAGE Singapore, Art Los Angeles Contemporary, The Armory Show, Melbourne Art Fair, Art Cologne and London Art Fair.
