Willowbrook Country Apartments

Willowbrook Country Apartments comprises 8 fully self-contained apartments in 4 acres of mature gardens. This idyllic, rural location below Coronet Peak is about 15 minutes from Queenstown and 5 minutes from Arrowtown. The Main House Apartments have evolved from an extensive renovation of the old homestead while The Cottage, The Barn and Hideaway Studios are newly-built versions of the former homestead's outhouses. The setting is very peaceful with safe, off-street parking and all the apartments are modern, very spacious and fully self-contained. There are friendly sheep to handfeed, a tennis court and an outdoor spa pool with views up to Coronet Peak Ski Area.

The Main House King Studio Apartment (50sqm) has a super king bed and a double sofa bed allowing for a maximum occupancy of 4 persons (default occupancy is 1-2 persons). There is underfloor heating in the ensuite bathroom and a large shower with gas hot water. The living area is generously sized and features an Aiku Rimu dining suite and a sofa while a covered deck with BBQ awaits you at the entrance. A superbly equipped kitchenette has everything you need including cooktop (x2), microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle and full-size fridge/freezer. Of course, all cookware, glassware, cutlery and crockery is provided. The apartment has Sky TV, a DVD player and unlimited complimentary Wifi. A laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer, drying racks and ironing facilities is available in the Main House for guests to use 8am to 8pm.

The Main House Queen Studio Apartment (59sqm) has a queen bed and a double sofa bed allowing for a maximum occupancy of 4 persons (default occupancy is 1-2 persons). There is underfloor heating in the ensuite bathroom which features a pressed-tin ceiling and a clawfoot bathtub. Hot water for the bath and a large shower comes from gas. The living area is generously sized and has a dining table, chairs and a sofa while covered decks with BBQ border the north and south sides of the apartment. A superbly equipped kitchenette has everything you need including cooktop (x2), microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle and full-size fridge/freezer. Of course, all cookware, glassware, cutlery and crockery is provided. The apartment has Sky TV, a DVD player and unlimited complimentary Wifi. The apartment has Sky TV, a DVD player and unlimited complimentary Wifi. A gravel patio with BBQ is just outside your front door and a laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer, drying racks and ironing facilities is available in the Main House for guests to use 8am to 8pm.

The Main House Two-Bedroom Apartment (63sqm) has a queen bedroom and a twin single bedroom. The queen bedroom can accommodate an extra single bed allowing for a maximum occupancy of 5 persons (default occupancy is 4 persons). The bathroom has underfloor heating, a large shower and is independent (not ensuite to either bedroom). The living area is generously sized and has a dining table, chairs, sofa and Lazyboy recliner. A full kitchen (with oven, dishwasher and full-size fridge/freezer) is arranged along one wall and all the cookware, glassware, cutlery and crockery you are likely to need is provided. On another wall is a smart TV and the apartment has Sky TV, DVD player and unlimited complimentary Wifi. Covered decks border the west and east sides and a gravel patio with BBQ is outside your front door. A laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer, drying racks and ironing facilities is available in the Main House for guests to use 8am to 8pm.

The Barn (39sqm) with Annex (21sqm) comprises two very large rooms and one bathroom and is perfect for families or larger groups. The larger of the two rooms is set out in studio-apartment style with a super king bed, ensuite bathroom, well-equipped kitchenette (with full-size fridge/freezer) and lounge/dining area with tables, chairs and sofas. Through a connecting door is The Annex which has twin single beds and two bunk beds (and shares the bathroom of the main room). There is a covered deck with barbecue, adjacent parking and the property has a smart TV with Sky TV, DVD player and unlimited complimentary Wifi. Maximum occupancy is 6 persons (default occupancy is without Annex i.e. 1-2 persons).

The Cottage (81sqm) is delightfully cosy and warm. It has two bedrooms - queen and twin single - both with ensuite bathroom (one of which is Japanese -style with large wet area and bathtub). The twin single room can accommodate an extra single bed allowing for maximum occupancy of 5 persons (default occupancy is 4 persons). The full kitchen includes an oven, dishwasher and full-size fridge/freezer and all the cookware, glassware, cutlery and crockery you are likely to need. Living/dining areas are open-plan and underfloor heating throughout keeps the concrete floors warm to the touch. The property has a smart TV with Sky TV, DVD player and unlimited complimentary Wifi. Full laundry facilities are provided and spacious sundecks with barbecue border The Cottage. With its own private lawn and car parking area, it is as private as you want it to be.

Hideaway Studios North & South (48sqm) are one of our newer accommodation options. Beautifully appointed and very spacious (8m x 6 m), each studio apartment has a queen bed and a double sofa bed allowing for a maximum occupancy of 4 persons (default occupancy is 1-2 persons). Underfloor heating warms the floor tiles in the ensuite bathroom while the superbly equipped kitchenette has 2 cooktop elements, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, and full-size fridge/freezer along with all the cookware, glassware, cutlery and crockery you are likely to need. While open plan, the living and dining areas are clearly separated and feature 2 sofas and a dining table and chairs respectively.  The studios have smart TV’s with Sky, a DVD player and unlimited complimentary Wifi. A partially covered sun deck with BBQ can be found by the entrance to the apartment and a laundry/ski drying room is provided at the north end of the same building.
