Three Ways to use Stories to Grow your Tourism Business
DQ invites you to join this storytelling workshop. Learn how to establish connections with Queenstown visitors and turn people into customers by using storytelling more. High-value travellers want to meet local people, hear local stories, and have authentic, local experiences. They want to feel they’ve got to know a place in a more meaningful way. That starts before they arrive in Queenstown, with the content they consume. Content marketing expert and writer, Lizzie Davidson teaches business owners how to use content to attract customers. Lizzie has been a professional storyteller for 16 years. As content marketing director for a boutique international tourism agency, she helped shape content strategy for Brand USA, Expedia, Illinois Office of Tourism, ChristchurchNZ, and Destination Queenstown. In 2020, she started her own consultancy, giving B2B service business owners the skills and courage to become more visible experts and convert that attention into sales. She’s seen again and again the power storytelling has to grow revenue and believes nailing your core stories is one of the most important marketing tasks a business owner has.
