Queenstown Ice Arena offers fun for everyone!

Important information:

Ice Skating Bookings:  Please be advised that purchasing an entry ticket to any public skating session entitles you access to the session you have booked.  You can view all the session times on our calendar www.rectimes.com/queenstownicearena as they change depending on the day.  We find that a typical skating session lasts between 30 minutes - 1 hour, but you are welcome to skate as long as the sessions allows.  

Ice Bumper Cars:  Ice Bumper Cars are a 10-minute ride.  Guests must check in 20 minutes PRIOR to their scheduled ride time.  Failure to do so results in missing your ride with no refund.  You must have close-toed flat shoes on for the Bumper Cars. More guidelines on our website.

Bump & Skate Combos:  You must be checked in at least 20 minutes prior to your Ice Bumper Car Ride or you miss your ride with no refund.  This means that you may skate before & after your ride during your public ice-skating session booked with the combo if the timing allows.  Please look at our public ice-skating calendar & plan your ice skating accordingly to your Ice Bumper Car booking.  You must have close-toed flat shoes on for the Bumper Cars.  Example: 10:30a IBC ride & ice session is 10a-11;30a, you can skate during that time.

Frisbee Hire:  Frisbee hire is available at the Queenstown Ice Arena.  No bookings required.  You will need a valid ID for us to hold as a deposit.  Frisbee hire is available during staffed hours.  Please check our schedule to avoid disappointment or call 034418000.

3 for $33: Must be booked together as a combo in full. All activities must be done on the same day, by the same person during our hours of operation. Please plan accordingly. No refunds will be provided for activities not completed or missed or for bad weather days, Valid Photo ID required for frisbee hire deposit per 4 discs hired. Guests must arrive at the ice arena 15 min prior to their Ice Bumper Car ride or they could forfeit that activity with no refunds. Must be 6 years or older!  Guests will do their skating in the session they book their IBC ride in.  Frisbee golf can happen at anytime during staffed hours.  

What to bring:
Socks (long socks recommended), warm layers, jackets, pants, covered footwear, warm gloves, warm hat, and camera.  If you have a ski helmet, we recommend you bring it, but we have helmets we can provide free of charge if not.

What we provide:

Ice Skates & helmets to those who are public skating

A fully licensed bar & café for food & drink & a cosy lounge.  No outside food & beverages are allowed.

Friendly staff who can assist you & help with any questions.
