For those ski bunnies, the Remarkables lookout has one of the most stunning views over Lake Wakatipu. Take the Shadow chair to the top of Shadow Basin and hike ten minutes to the lookout and create an unforgettable proposal memory.

There are many hidden beaches, along the Lake Whakatipu shoreline, Bob's Cove, Sunshine Bay and Wilsons bay to name a few. You could get down on one knee on edge of the lake or head out on the water and take a ride on a vintage steamship, a state of the art catamaran, or hire a private launch for the afternoon.
