COVID-19 Update: If you're currently visiting Queenstown, or planning to visit, the New Zealand Government ask all travellers to consider returning home as soon as possible. International flights are reducing capacity at pace and domestic travellers have until Friday 27 March to get to where they need to be. We are now at COVID-19 Alert Level 4, from 11:59pm 25 March for a minimum four-week period. This means all non-essential services are closed and everyone must stay at home or their accommodation. For visiting campers or those visitors currently in Queenstown and looking for a self-isolation-friendly place to stay, campgrounds and hotels/motels are considered essential services and allowed to remain open during this period. For a list of wider accommodation options that remain open, visit www.qldc.govt.nz/covid-19
