We enjoy lunch at their winery restaurant with dramatic views across Lake Dunstan and the Cromwell basin. Choose any main from their locally-sourced menu to enjoy with your choice of wine, or indulge in a decadent cheese board with chef’s selection of local cheese and artisan accompaniments before continuing our adventure.

We arrive at the renowned, multi-award-winning Cloudy Bay winery for a private 45-minute tasting in the exclusive Lakeview Room. Enjoy this unique opportunity to meet the people behind the wine, and delve into their fascinating wine making philosophy. Here we have the option to add a private vineyard tour or extended two-hour wine tasting for those who would like a fully immersive experience.

Next we venture into Gibbston wine region the ‘Valley of the Vines’, nestled between rugged schist mountains and the rocky Kawarau River gorge. Here we can sample more world-class Pinot Noir before enjoying a scenic drive back towards Queenstown.
