Gantley's Tavern

This historic stone building is Queenstown's oldest hospitality business and was built in 1865 by Patrick Gantley to provide food, drink, and lodging in the Gold Rush era. 

We are only a 5-minute drive from the centre of Queenstown and 1-minute from the bottom of Coronet Ski Field. 

In the summer, Gantley's offers a large, grassy beer garden. In winter, it is the perfect place to visit for Apres Ski or to sit in front of the fire with a mulled drink. 

Gantley's Tavern has a large selection of New Zealand craft beer and local wines / spirits. Our menu is 'Pub Fare with Flair', sourcing local ingredients and inspiration. 

Gantley's Tavern offers a huge range of possibilities for functions, weddings, corporate events, and parties. We have a number of spaces available - each with their own unique qualities.
