There is a wide range of reading materials waiting for members and visitors to view and borrow at Queenstown Lakes Libraries but that’s not all on offer! Desktop computers are available on a first-come first-served basis in many of our branches, as well as printing, scanning, and photocopying services. Access to Wifi and charge rates vary between libraries but you’ll likely get the first three hours free!. Many of our libraries have a quiet study space where you can use and charge your own device, offering portable chargers to borrow.

We proudly offer a variety of programmes, services and activities for all ages. Infants, toddlers and children can enjoy our regular weekly activities:

Alongside our regular offerings, we provide fun-filled holiday programmes for school-aged children, reading challenges, quiz nights and topical guest speakers throughout the year, along with special events aimed at children, families, and young people.
