National organisations

Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA) represents all sectors of New Zealand’s tourism industry and advocates for issues that impact the industry.

Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) markets New Zealand to the world as a tourist destination.

Tourism Export Council of New Zealand (TECNZ) is the industry association for tourism export. It works to connect tourism businesses with inbound tour operators (IBOs).

Business Events Aotearoa (BEIA) is an industry association that aims to attract and stimulate business event activity from domestic and international sources.

Hospitality New Zealand is a membership organisation that provides expert advice and guidance for hospitality and accommodation.

Grow Tourism is a learning platform equipping our workforce and empowering the visitor economy of tomorrow. Developed by industry experts, Grow Tourism provides bite-sized professional development courses and customised training and consulting options to deliver high-impact learning to staff. Destination Queenstown is the Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) for the Queenstown Region. There are 31 RTOs in New Zealand, responsible for marketing and destination management in their regions.
