Getting the Most from your Regional Tourism Organisation

Are you a new member of Destination Queenstown (DQ) or Lake Wānaka Tourism (LWT)? Join us to discover who we are, what we do, and how we can support your business. This friendly session will introduce you to how your Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) operates, the tools and support available to you, and the best ways to tap into your membership. You'll walk away with a clear understanding of the different teams, services and resources designed to amplify your business, and strengthen the wider visitor economy.

Who Should Attend & What You'll Gain

This session is ideal for new member businesses, new staff within a member business, or anyone wanting to better understand how to work with DQ and LWT. You will:

  • Learn about the purpose and role of DQ & LWT as the Regional Tourism Organisation for the Queenstown Lakes District.

  • Understand how your membership works and what support and services are available to you.

  • Gain an overview of our teams including Consumer Marketing, Travel Trade, Data and Insights, Media and Communications, Business Events, and Destination Management, and how each can support your goals.

  • Learn how to stay connected and informed.

  • Ask questions and access practical tools to help you engage more effectively with our teams
