The Rees
The Rees is set on the lakeshore by the Frankton Arm of Lake Whakatipu. The hotel is an eight-minute drive from Queenstown airport and six minutes to central Queenstown. If your team are feeling energetic, they can stroll into town along the lakeside trail, a pleasant 30-minute walk, or take a water taxi from the hotel’s private wharf.
This is a premium meeting venue combining high-end facilities with exceptional service. The serene, spacious Ruma Wai Kahu meeting room is a flexible space. Set it up as a boardroom for 28 people or in theatre for 70. The Rees Penthouse can also be set up as a meeting space, or a private dining venue with elevated views of the lake.
The Rees has a dedicated event specialist to help you organise your business event. Accommodation options include hotel rooms, apartments, and private residences. The hotel’s True South Dining Room is there for cocktails, dinner, or a tasting of Central Otago wine.

Skyline’s Director’s Room
Skyline Queenstown perches high above Lake Whakatipu. Floor to ceiling windows overlook sweeping views of Queenstown, the lake, and the mountains. Your delegates arrive by gondola, setting the scene for your important meeting. The Director’s Room is particularly epic in its outlook. It seats 18 for a meeting and hosts up to 30 for a cocktail reception. However, if you need a larger meeting space, Skyline has spaces that can accommodate up to 400.
Skyline’s catering team works with chefs and suppliers to produce menus that showcase our remarkable local produce. There is a choice of onsite activities: from a powhiri to greet your delegates or you can book your team onto the Skyline Luge for a high-octane end to your meeting that’ll bring them back to reality with a grin from ear to ear.

Mountain Club
Mountain Club offers a relaxed, lounge style setting in the heart of downtown Queenstown. This buzzy co-working space hosts all sorts of meetings and events. Enjoy views of the lake and the Remarkables from the Mountain Club balcony. The Mountain Club team can help you organise your business event, and even curate your team’s whole Queenstown experience.
An intimate boardroom and meeting room can accommodate six each. You can seat up to 30 people for private workshops in the open plan space or host a cocktail-style function for up to 100 people. Catering options include canapes, a grazing table, buffet, or a sit-down dinner. A fully stocked and staffed bar offers local wines and cocktails.
The Parlour at Eichardt’s Private Hotel
Eichardt’s Hotel combines history with warm hospitality and lake views. It’s a striking space for meetings and corporate retreats. It was built in 1872 by Albert Eichardt, and his wife, the formidable Julia O’Meara. Julia was the mother of Queenstown’s famous nightlife, transforming Eichardt’s from a rough miners’ pub into a hotel for the budding tourist scene.
Today, Eichardt’s Parlour is an intimate meeting space. An open fire and leather club chairs create a cosy ambiance that harks back to 19th century Queenstown. French doors lead on to balconies overlooking the lake. The hotel also offers larger spaces for meetings up to 25 people, and provides group accommodation and dining, including their famous high tea.

Katoa Suite is ideal for smaller meetings, seating 16 when set up as a boardroom, and 20 theatre style. If you’re hosting a larger group, Katoa Suite is great as a small break-out zone or a quiet space for people to answer emails. The Rendezvous Heritage team also suggest it makes a great yoga lounge to get creative mojo going with a few sun salutations.
The Rendezvous Heritage has 175 rooms and suites, an indoor/outdoor pool, a spa pool, sauna, gym, restaurant, and bar. It’s a comfortable base for your Queenstown meeting.
Crowne Plaza
Crowne Plaza is centrally located with contemporary meeting spaces with great facilities and a reputation for running polished corporate events.
They’ve four meeting and event rooms with views of Lake Whakatipu and the Remarkables. Options range from a boardroom seating 12 with panoramic 180-degree views, to a space that accommodates up to 200 people with access to pre-function areas and a private courtyard. Hotel St. Moritz
Hotel St. Moritz is on Brunswick Street overlooking the lake and only a few minutes’ walk from central Queenstown. Their boutique meeting spaces, the Den and the Library, both have phenomenal views, and a warm, sophisticated alpine lodge ambiance with rich golds and burgundies creating a cosy, autumnal vibe.
The spaces can be set up as a boardroom for 15 or combined to accommodate to larger gatherings, and offer super-fast broadband, screens, and overhead projectors. The hotel has a long association with the film industry, hosting crews on location, and also specialises in incentive events. Expect responsive support from their flexible, experienced team.

QT Hotel and Rydges Lakeland Resort
QT Queenstown and Rydges Lakeland Resort (temporarily closed for strengthening work until April 2026) are separate hotels that share the same conferencing space, where bold design meets relaxed comfort. QT brings the glamour, with artistic flair and statement interiors, while Rydges offers a laid-back, welcoming retreat with unbeatable lakefront views. Together, they provide the perfect setting for both business and celebration, surrounded by stunning immersive vistas.
Clancy’s Room seats 32 to 80 people depending on how you want to set it up. Wrap-around windows frame views of the lake and the mountains between Italianesque pillars. The large, bright Queenstown Room also offers breathtaking views and can be arranged in various configurations for up to 250 for a cocktail function, or 200 seated theatre style.
Finish off the day at Red’s Bar watching the change of light on the Remarkables over an Otago pinot, a warming local whisky, or a classic cocktail.

The Manata Room at Mercure
The Mercure Queenstown Resort is set on a vantage point in Fernhill, five minutes from central Queenstown on the way to Glenorchy. There are views of the Remarkables and Lake Whakatipu, as well as tranquil gardens, a sauna, spa pools, and seasonal swimming pool.
The Manata Room is a light, airy meeting space with high ceilings and great views offering you both comfort and flexibility. It can accommodate up to 110 people and can be configured for meetings, dinners, team-building activities, and presentations. The Mercure also offers the smaller, more intimate Aspen meeting space which takes up to 35 people. Their Rises Restaurant can be booked for private dining, banquets, or cocktail parties.
The Kamana Lakehouse
Kamana Lakehouse sits above Lake Whakatipu in picturesque Fernhill. It’s Queenstown’s highest hotel. The airy, elegant spaces are full of natural light, making the uninterrupted panoramas of lake and mountains the rightful star.

The Headwaters Eco Lodge
The Headwaters Eco Lodge is set in picturesque Glenorchy, a tiny village of only 400 inhabitants dwarfed by the surrounding mountain peaks. This spectacular setting is ideal for teams seeking inspiration from the majestic landscape and a tranquil environment away from the hubbub of their day-to-day.
The lodge is a Net-Zero certified living building producing more solar power than the resort consumes. It has six meeting spaces and can accommodate meetings for up to 60 people, and a 120 people seated theatre style. Despite the remote location, the Lodge has high speed internet, AV, projectors, and large screens.
Headwaters regularly host corporate retreats. Your team can stay on site in comfortable chalets.

NZ High Country
NZ High Country is a high-country farm set on 220 hectares with views of the surrounding peaks, the high-country landscape, and Queenstown below. Your hosts are the Grant family, who’ve farmed the land for five generations.
This is one of Queenstown’s most scenic venues. A marquee set amidst rolling hills by serene, little Lake June can be divided into three spaces, providing options suitable for larger group. For smaller groups, Summer Views is an open plan marquee overlooking Lake Johnson and Coronet Peak. An expansive lawn offers plenty of space for drinks, lawn games, or stargazing by a fire. There are also two spectacular sites where you can pitch a marquee.

TomTom Productions
