Hen's night must dos
Queenstown is famous for its world class wine, and there are a number of operators that offer half or full day wine tours in the famous Gibbston region. If you’re after a more active experience, there’s the option to ‘bike the wineries’ with either fully guided, or self-ride options along the Queenstown Trail.
Boat cruise and bubbles
Cruising on the lake gives you another perspective of Queenstown, and many boat operators have licenced bars on board, so you can enjoy bubbles as you cruise over to Walter peak, Mt Nicholas or down the Frankton Arm.

You ain't been to Queenstown if you haven't found the legendary Queenstown bull, the buck jumping, take no prisoners, snorting bull that only special people can ride.....make sure your hen gets on before the end of the night.
Stag's party must dos
Bungy, swing or jump out of something
Because let’s face it, you want to give the groom a bit of a scare. Queenstown is the ultimate place to throw your groom off a ledge, out of a plane, or swing him off a platform with plenty of heart stopping freefall.
Start your stag do adventure by jumping on a quad bike and letting the locals show you the best spots. You could end up exploring the Kawarau River, the Nevis mountain range, or a private station with all operators providing protective clothing, and training according to rider’s abilities.
Go karts, indoor paintball, laser tag, indoor golf, there’s plenty of indoor entertainment options in Queenstown, so take your pick!
Clay target shooting
A staple for any stag do, clay target shooting is a great way to challenge the stag to a competition to suss out who's buying the next round in town that night.
The Queenstown Gardens is home to a great disc golf course. Just grab some discs from an outdoors store and hit the trails with the crew.
Round of golf at one of Queenstown’s seven golf courses
With some of the most scenic golf courses in the world, Queenstown is simply an unforgettable golfing experience. Don’t forget the 19th hole after the game, you’ll deserve a beer after a day on the green.
To ensure you are making the most of your time on the water in Queenstown there are many local fishing guides and tours available. Check with the operator about getting the correct fishing licence if it’s not included in the tour.
If the hen and stag parties collide at the end of the day, there’s a buzzing nightlife to keep you going into the wee hours. Options include clubs with visiting DJs, pubs with live covers bands and relaxed lounge bars to chill and catch up with buddies who’ve travelled from all over the world for the celebrations.
